The Allen-Bradley 1756-IR6I is a ControlLogix Isolated RTD Input Module. It is used to receive signals from Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and convert them to digital signals for the PLC to process. The 1756-IR6I has six input channels and each channel can be configured for a different type of RTD sensor. The module also has a built-in isolator to protect the PLC from electrical noise and interference.
