The Bachmann DIO248 is a digital input/output (DIO) module that is used to control digital devices such as contactors, relays, pneumatic and hydraulic valves, as well as to read signals from digital sensors, detectors, or switches. It has 48/64 or 80 digital channels, 16 of which can be configured as input or output. The DIO248 also has 8 configurable interrupt inputs and up to four 32-bit counters.
