The EPRO CON041+PR6424/006-131 is a proximity sensor that is used to measure the displacement, vibration, and speed of rotating shafts. The CON041 is the preamplifier, and the PR6424/006-131 is the eddy current probe. The preamplifier amplifies the signal from the probe and provides power to the probe. The probe generates an eddy current in the shaft, and the magnitude of the eddy current is proportional to the distance between the probe and the shaft.
