The FOXBORO FBI10E P0972AJ is a 10 Mb Ethernet fieldbus isolator. It is used to isolate fieldbus devices from the Ethernet network to prevent ground loops and other electrical disturbances. The isolator has two RJ-45 ports, one for the fieldbus device and one for the Ethernet network. It also has a power supply connector.
